KNHS Students visit the Nelson Atkins Museum

A selection of Art 3 and 4 students participated in a unique program, funded through the Ford Foundation.  Students visited the Nelson Atkins Museum in Kansas City and selected a work of art from the museum's permanent collection.  Students then collaborated with a partner and developed a reaction to that artwork.  Some reactions were in the form of poem, narration, or essay.  Students could use still images or Flip cams to document their work.
